Bettinardi has milled putters out of its own factory in Tinley Park, Illinois since 1991, one of the few putter makers that still does its own milling in-house rather than outsourcing to a supplier. The Studio Stock line is the company's flagship blade and mini-mallet series.
What milling actually means
Each head starts as a solid block of 303 stainless steel and gets cut down on CNC mills rather than cast in a mold. That process holds tighter tolerances and is part of why milled putters tend to feel softer and more consistent off the face.
The Studio Stock lineup
The line runs from classic blades like the SS28 to mini-mallets like the SS8, each with Bettinardi's honeycomb face milling for a soft, muted feel at impact. Most models come in a few neck options (plumber's, single bend, double bend) to fit different strokes.
