GolfRoots works with golf courses, country clubs, indoor golf and simulator venues, golf stores, pro shops, club fitters and teaching pros in two ways: we buy used clubs through our trade-in program, and we pay partners through our affiliate program when their customers buy clubs from us. Private clubs can also host a GolfRoots Trade-In Event, where our team comes on site for an afternoon and members trade in clubs for credit at their own golf shop. More than 350 clubs partner with us.

Who can partner with GolfRoots?

Any golf business that has customers with clubs to sell, or customers looking for clubs to buy:

  • Private and country clubs
  • Public, municipal and daily-fee courses
  • Driving ranges
  • Indoor golf and simulator venues
  • Golf stores and pro shops
  • Club fitters and teaching professionals

Can our private club host a GolfRoots Trade-In Event?

Yes. A Trade-In Event is a single on-site event at your club. We send you marketing materials ahead of time to share with members, and our trained team runs the event in person for about four hours. All your club provides is a 6 or 8 foot table and Wi-Fi. Members bring their old clubs, we evaluate each one on the spot, and the credit goes to your golf shop. After the event we send a complete member-by-member breakdown and pay the club by check or credit card.

You can see how it works and request a date on our Trade-In Event page.

We're a public course, range or indoor golf venue. How can we work with you?

We don't run on-site Trade-In Events at public courses or indoor venues, but we can still help in two ways. First, we handle one-off trade-ins year round, so when a golfer asks what to do with an old set or a driver they've replaced, you have an easy answer. Second, our affiliate program pays you when your customers buy clubs from GolfRoots, which works well for venues that see a lot of golfers but don't stock a big wall of used clubs.

How can golf stores and pro shops use the GolfRoots trade-in program?

Shops can send customers' trade-ins to GolfRoots instead of carrying used inventory themselves. Get a value for a club any time with our Pro Portal trade-in tool, then work with our team to send the clubs in. It lets you say yes to trade-ins without filling your floor with used clubs you then have to price and sell.

Are club fitters and teaching pros a good fit?

Yes. Your students and fitting clients are often replacing clubs that still have value. You can help them trade in the old set when they upgrade, and the affiliate program pays you when the people you send to GolfRoots buy clubs, whether that's a used set for a new golfer or a specific model you recommended after a lesson.

How does the GolfRoots affiliate program work?

Partners share GolfRoots with their customers, and when those customers buy clubs from us, the partner earns money on the purchase. GolfRoots has thousands of used clubs online, each listed with its own specs and photos, so it's an easy place to send a golfer looking for a specific club or a full set. Sign up through our affiliate registration page, or contact us with questions.

What does it cost to partner with GolfRoots?

Nothing. There's no fee to host a Trade-In Event, use the trade-in program or join the affiliate program.

Our average time to delivery is 3.4 days across all orders. If you want to guarantee you receive your package in 3 days - we recommend selecting the priority shipping option, and if you need your package in 2 days or less we recommend selecting the express shipping option.

Sadly, we do not ship outside of the U.S. yet. In the past, customers encountered unexpected taxes and import fees - to avoid any of that frustration we recommend shopping locally (if you're outside the U.S.). However, we are hoping to add Canada and Mexico soon, so stay tuned for updates!
