We Provide All Marketing Materials

Eight weeks before the event, you receive everything you need — signage, digital assets, and a full email reminder cadence at one month, two weeks, one week, and day-of.

Our Trained Team Hosts On-Site

A GolfRoots team member arrives and runs the full 4-hour event. All we need: a table near the pro shop and WiFi access. That's it — we do the rest.

We Send a Breakdown & Pay in Full

After the event, you receive a full report with each member's name, number, and exact credit owed. Payment arrives 100% via check or credit card — ready to apply to member accounts.

Trade-In Event FAQ

Everything your team needs to know before saying yes — which we think you will.

All clubs are evaluated on-site during the event by our trained team. GolfRoots uses a proprietary trade-in system that prices clubs based on condition, brand, and model. Our pricing is competitive with the PGA Value Guide, so members can trust they're getting a fair, market-rate offer.

There are no fees and no minimums — ever. Your club is paid 1:1 on every trade-in received during the event, and there is absolutely no cost for GolfRoots to come out and host. It's a completely free value-add for your membership.

All we need is a 6 or 8 foot table and somewhere to set up — ideally near the Pro Shop or inside the clubhouse with WiFi and a power outlet. Our team arrives ready to handle everything else.

The one thing we ask is that you help promote the event to your members — this is the single biggest driver of a successful day. We make it easy: marketing materials arrive 8 weeks in advance, and we handle the email reminder cadence at one month, two weeks, one week, and the day before. Your role is simply to share it through your existing channels.

We don't pay members directly — instead, we pay the club via check or credit card for the full amount owed. Your team then applies that credit to each member's account, keeping the spend within the club. After the event, we provide a complete breakdown with each member's name, member number, and exact credit amount so reconciliation is simple.
