We support charity golf events across the U.S. To keep the program running, every tournament needs to meet these basics.

Verified 501(c)(3)Proceeds must benefit a registered 501(c)(3). We confirm the EIN with the IRS.

2+ weeks noticeSubmit at least 14 days before your event so cards arrive in time.

32+ playersYour field should have at least 32 golfers (8 foursomes).

Recognition (appreciated)A hole sign, a spot on the sponsor list, a social tag or a few event photos go a long way.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Player cards and prize cards are free for approved tournaments. Wholesale items for auctions and raffles are purchased at a steep discount.

How do the player cards work?

Each card has a code for $15 off any GolfRoots order of $50 or more, one use per customer. Golfers can also enter the code when they send in their first trade-in to get a 15% bonus on the trade value.

How far ahead should we apply?

At least two weeks before your event. More notice is better, especially in spring and fall.

Our event is not a scramble. Can we still apply?

Yes. Any format works. If there is no team leaderboard, tell us how you award prizes and we will adjust.

Can we apply every year?

Yes. Returning tournaments are welcome to apply again each year.

How do we get wholesale pricing?

Check the wholesale box on the form. Once approved, we send access to the curated collection and pricing.
