Shaft flex?
What is shaft flex? It's how much the shaft bends during your swing. A softer, more flexible shaft helps a slower, smoother swing launch the ball higher and get more distance; a stiffer shaft suits a faster, more aggressive swing and gives more control. The right flex affects your launch, spin, and how consistently you strike the ball.

Not sure what you have? Check the shaft near the grip — flex is usually printed right on it (look for L, A or Sr, R, S, or X). As a rough guide by driver swing speed: under 75 mph is usually Ladies, 75–85 mph Senior, 85–95 mph Regular, 95–105 mph Stiff, and 105+ mph Extra Stiff. We need an actual flex to make sure we point you to the right in-stock variant, so please pick the closest match above — if you're really stuck, Stiff or Regular is the most common flex for adult golfers.
