How often should I regrip my golf clubs?

Golf Pride recommends at least once a year, or about every 40 rounds, sooner if you practice a lot. Texas heat and sweat wear grips out faster. If your grips feel slick, hard or shiny, or you catch yourself squeezing harder to hold on, it's time. More in how often should you regrip golf clubs.

Which grip should I choose?

Start with size, then material. Our golf grip size chart shows which size fits your hand, and rubber vs cord vs wrap grips explains which material works best in Texas heat. Or just come hold a few on our grip wall.

Why check loft and lie?

Irons, especially forged ones, can bend slightly over time from normal use. When lofts drift, the distance gaps between your clubs get uneven. When the lie angle doesn't fit you, shots tend to start left or right of where you aimed. A spec report shows where your set stands, and a loft and lie adjustment brings it back. Read loft and lie adjustment explained.

Can you make my clubs longer or shorter?

Yes. We extend or cut down shafts to fit your height and setup, then install a new grip. Changing length also changes swing weight, so ask us if you're not sure how much to change. See should you lengthen or shorten your golf clubs.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Bring your clubs to the shop during business hours. For a full set or a reshaft, call ahead so we can give you a turnaround time.

Buying used clubs? We can fit them to you

If a used club from us is close but not quite right, we can adjust the length, lie or grip so it fits you, and you can test it on our in-shop simulator. Browse used golf clubs, read about our Dallas showroom, or see our trade-in program if you're upgrading.
