A short history of L.A.B. Golf
L.A.B. Golf grew out of Bill Presse's Directed Force putters and took the L.A.B. (Lie Angle Balance) name in 2018. The idea is a putter balanced so the face resists twisting and stays square through the stroke without the golfer controlling it. Adam Scott used one at the 2019 Masters, and J.J. Spaun won the 2025 U.S. Open with a DF3. The company is based in Oregon.
