A short history of Odyssey
Odyssey started making putters in 1991 with its Stronomic insert, and Nick Faldo won the 1996 Masters with an Odyssey Rossie II. Callaway bought the brand in 1997. The White Hot insert followed in 2000 and the 2-Ball mallet in 2001, which at its peak was roughly one in four putters sold.
