Released in 2018 alongside the more adjustable M3, the M4 was built as the easier-swinging option of TaylorMade's M family that year, aimed at forgiveness over tinkering.
Geocoustic sole
An advanced sole shaping technique, branded Geocoustic, freed up interior volume for a larger clubface and a bigger sweet spot while still producing a solid, explosive sound at impact.
Twist Face and Speed Pocket
Twist Face corrects the tendency for high-toe and low-heel mishits to curve offline, while the Speed Pocket in the sole keeps ball speed up on strikes low on the face. Used together, they cover mishits in more directions than either one alone.
