A short history of Cleveland
Roger Cleveland founded the company in 1979 as Cleveland Classics. The 588 wedge, introduced in 1988, became one of the most popular wedges ever made and is still referenced in Cleveland designs today. Cleveland Golf has been owned by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, the same company behind Srixon, since 2007.
How do I identify my Cleveland golf club?
Cleveland prints the model name on the sole of woods and the back of irons and wedges. On wedges, the loft and bounce are stamped on the head, and the grind is usually named on the sole.
What are my Cleveland golf clubs worth?
It depends on the model, how long it has been out, its condition and current demand. Cleveland wedges are what we see traded in most, and recent RTX and RTZ models with good grooves get the best offers. Worn grooves lower a wedge's value quickly. The calculator gives you a real number in about a minute, and our guide on what your golf clubs are worth explains what moves the price.

We take most Cleveland golf clubs, from current models back to classics. Models we carry often include:

- Cleveland RTZ wedges
- Cleveland TA7 irons
- Cleveland CG4 irons
- Cleveland Classic XL fairway woods
