Cleveland has built its reputation almost entirely on wedges, and the RTX ZipCore line is the current version of that focus. Two things separate it from a standard wedge, a lighter internal core and a sharper groove pattern.
ZipCore
ZipCore is a low-density core placed inside the head that shifts the center of gravity and raises MOI, aimed at more consistent spin and control across full swings and short shots alike.
UltiZip grooves
The UltiZip grooves are cut sharper, deeper, and closer together than Cleveland's previous groove pattern, with two extra grooves per face to channel away grass, sand, and water for more consistent contact from bad lies.
