A short history of TaylorMade

TaylorMade was founded in 1979 in McHenry, Illinois by Gary Adams, who borrowed against his house to build a stainless steel driver called the Pittsburgh Persimmon. It was the first commercially successful metal wood and helped push the whole industry away from persimmon heads. Today TaylorMade is based in Carlsbad, California.

Our average time to delivery is 3.4 days across all orders. If you want to guarantee you receive your package in 3 days - we recommend selecting the priority shipping option, and if you need your package in 2 days or less we recommend selecting the express shipping option.

Sadly, we do not ship outside of the U.S. yet. In the past, customers encountered unexpected taxes and import fees - to avoid any of that frustration we recommend shopping locally (if you're outside the U.S.). However, we are hoping to add Canada and Mexico soon, so stay tuned for updates!

Our policy allows for returns up to 60 days after you receive your order!

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will send you a pre-paid shipping label to send it back to us (at no cost to you). Once we receive the item, you have two options: 1. Receive 100% money-back in credit towards another item 2. Receive your money-back less a 3% restocking fee ($15 minimum). If the condition of the club changes significantly to decrease the value of the club, then the return is subject to a larger deduction.
